Before Bori Soul Kitchen came to life, there were two grandmothers — one Puerto Rican, one African American — each creating magic in their kitchens. One seasoned arroz con gandules under the Caribbean sun; the other stirred collard greens in a cast-iron pot while gospel music played softly in the background. Though their worlds were miles apart, their love for family, food, and tradition spoke the same language.
